These may be two different subject matters but Colley will delve further into each one.

The landscape video covers one of paintings most exciting light effects "The Backlit Scene." It has impact, depth and visual excitement. See his approach and how he uses accurate tonal values, striking colors all while thinking outside the square to improve the focal point. This scene is all about the light, composition and subtle manipulation of the paint surface.

While in the interior video Colley demonstrates the contrast of sun kissed areas, mid tones and deep shadows. He will be using a variety of hog hair bristle brushes to softer synthetic or mongoose brush marks to create the effect of distance and unity.
